About Travis Pulver

Sports are not life to Travis but they sure as heck do make life a lot more fun. Over the last few years, Travis has worked for several news-oriented sites that focused on sports, especially football, baseball, basketball, and to a lesser extent boxing and MMA. Having grown up in the football-crazed state of Texas football is his first love. According to his mother, he was more excited to watch NFL and college games as a baby then Sesame Street or Mickey Mouse. His passion for sports quickly spread to baseball (favorite team is the Houston Astros), basketball, and track and field as a kid. It wasn’t until his college years that he discovered the tremendous game of rugby. If you want someone who has a passion for the game, Travis is the journalist for the job! Travis graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a masters in Political Science. Prior to that, he attended IU Purdue in Indianapolis, Indiana where he earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science and earned his first degree at Texas A & M in Galveston, TX, a BS in Maritime Administration. Travis, a native Texan, has been blogging about sports and other subjects for several years. He currently lives in Indiana (is a basketball fan but hates going to the Indy 500) with his wife and two adorable kids. With how he dominated the New England Patriots in the NFC title game and the Carolina Panthers […]

Posted on June 18, 2016, by Travis Pulver He’s young, he’s relatively healthy, he’s filthy rich, has a beautiful wife and child, and he plays a game for a living—so life can’t be too bad for Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry. But Thursday was certainly not the kind of day he will be eager […]

Posted on June 15, 2016, by Travis Pulver The Dallas Cowboys are expecting fans to believe a pretty far-fetched story concerning running back Darren McFadden. He is supposed to be out through training camp (maybe more) after suffering a fractured elbow because he dropped his cell phone and tried to save it. The incident supposedly […]

Posted on June 15, 2016, by Travis Pulver Had Baltimore Ravens running back Trent Richardson said after he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the No. 3 pick in 2012 that he envisioned his career ending with him making the Hall of Fame most people would have thought it was possible. He had a […]

Posted on June 13, 2016, by Travis Pulver Back in 1980, Los Angeles Lakers great Kareem Abdul-Jabar made history when he became the first regular season MVP not to win the award in the Finals. No one else would accomplish the dubious feat until last season when Steph Curry was named regular season MVP and […]

Posted on June 11, 2016, by Travis Pulver Every game in the NBA Finals is important, but the impact of Game Four Friday night was going to be significant no matter how it turned out. A win by the Cleveland Cavaliers would turn this into a competitive series while one by Golden State would—well, it […]
