About Travis Pulver

Sports are not life to Travis but they sure as heck do make life a lot more fun. Over the last few years, Travis has worked for several news-oriented sites that focused on sports, especially football, baseball, basketball, and to a lesser extent boxing and MMA. Having grown up in the football-crazed state of Texas football is his first love. According to his mother, he was more excited to watch NFL and college games as a baby then Sesame Street or Mickey Mouse. His passion for sports quickly spread to baseball (favorite team is the Houston Astros), basketball, and track and field as a kid. It wasn’t until his college years that he discovered the tremendous game of rugby. If you want someone who has a passion for the game, Travis is the journalist for the job! Travis graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a masters in Political Science. Prior to that, he attended IU Purdue in Indianapolis, Indiana where he earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science and earned his first degree at Texas A & M in Galveston, TX, a BS in Maritime Administration. Travis, a native Texan, has been blogging about sports and other subjects for several years. He currently lives in Indiana (is a basketball fan but hates going to the Indy 500) with his wife and two adorable kids. Last season the Texans had a solid defense but a lackluster offense. Had they had an offense that could actually score a few points, maybe […]

Posted on July 31, 2016, by Travis Pulver Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin is no stranger to controversy. He’s had to deal with the circus that surrounded Johnny Manziel. Then there was a span of time where it seemed like every time you turned your computer on another Aggie football player was getting arrested. This […]

Posted on July 27, 2016, by Travis Pulver Fat people know they are fat. If the media were to latch onto to a 300+ pound offensive lineman whose team wants him to lose a little weight no one would care. He’s supposed to be a big guy, and when he loses the weight the team […]

Posted on July 25, 2016, by Travis Pulver It has been a long time since there has been a reason to watch the Cleveland Browns. They have been the definition of underperforming players, poor drafting, poor management, and poor coaching. However, for once, the team may actually be worth watching this season—but not until October. […]
