About Travis Pulver

Sports are not life to Travis but they sure as heck do make life a lot more fun.

Over the last few years, Travis has worked for several news-oriented sites that focused on sports, especially football, baseball, basketball, and to a lesser extent boxing and MMA.

Having grown up in the football-crazed state of Texas football is his first love. According to his mother, he was more excited to watch NFL and college games as a baby then Sesame Street or Mickey Mouse. His passion for sports quickly spread to baseball (favorite team is the Houston Astros), basketball, and track and field as a kid. It wasn’t until his college years that he discovered the tremendous game of rugby.

If you want someone who has a passion for the game, Travis is the journalist for the job!

Travis graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a masters in Political Science. Prior to that, he attended IU Purdue in Indianapolis, Indiana where he earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science and earned his first degree at Texas A & M in Galveston, TX, a BS in Maritime Administration.

Travis, a native Texan, has been blogging about sports and other subjects for several years. He currently lives in Indiana (is a basketball fan but hates going to the Indy 500) with his wife and two adorable kids.

Posted on May 12, 2016 by Travis Pulver LeBron James has commented on how he would like to play his former team, the Miami Heat, in the Eastern Conference Finals. Posted on May 11, 2016 by Travis Pulver Fans of the San Antonio Spurs were not too worried about their team heading into Game Five Tuesday night. So the superstars they have come to know and love over the years had not been playing well the last couple of games. They were back at home […]

Posted on May 10, 2016 by Travis Pulver For years, there has not been a team better at playing team-oriented, unselfish basketball quite like the San Antonio Spurs. However, as all things do, times are changing and the Spurs along with them. Gone is the team that could count on an incredible combination of talent […]
