About Travis Pulver

Sports are not life to Travis but they sure as heck do make life a lot more fun. Over the last few years, Travis has worked for several news-oriented sites that focused on sports, especially football, baseball, basketball, and to a lesser extent boxing and MMA. Having grown up in the football-crazed state of Texas football is his first love. According to his mother, he was more excited to watch NFL and college games as a baby then Sesame Street or Mickey Mouse. His passion for sports quickly spread to baseball (favorite team is the Houston Astros), basketball, and track and field as a kid. It wasn’t until his college years that he discovered the tremendous game of rugby. If you want someone who has a passion for the game, Travis is the journalist for the job! Travis graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a masters in Political Science. Prior to that, he attended IU Purdue in Indianapolis, Indiana where he earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science and earned his first degree at Texas A & M in Galveston, TX, a BS in Maritime Administration. Travis, a native Texan, has been blogging about sports and other subjects for several years. He currently lives in Indiana (is a basketball fan but hates going to the Indy 500) with his wife and two adorable kids. Those who have played against him know how powerful and violent he can be. Ask any of them and they will probably tell you that […]

Posted on July 9, 2016, by Travis Pulver One of the problems NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is going to have if he is going to increase revenue from its current level of $13 billion a season to $25 billion in a few years, is figuring out where the money is going to come from. Some fans […]

Posted on July 8, 2016, by Travis Pulver People love their football teams. They love the players, the action, watching them win, and cursing their opponents when they lose. Many fans can’t get enough of their favorites. Just like celebrities from other walks of life, people get interested in the lives of their favorite players […]

Posted on July 7, 2016, by Travis Pulver At this time of year, the media doesn’t have a lot to talk about when it comes to the NFL unless guys get in trouble with the law. If they don’t—well, the coverage of the league can be dull. So to spice it up a little, the […]

Posted on July 6, 2016, by Travis Pulver Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers are accustomed to their team being one of the best in the NBA, but for the last few years, they have been anything but the best. Even when Kobe Bryant was healthy, the team was terrible. But now that Kobe is […]

Posted on July 6, 2016, by Travis Pulver When you are tired, you are tired, right? We’ve all been there. We’ve all been so tired we couldn’t keep our eyes open a second longer. When someone tried to wake us up, we resisted. We rolled back over; we pushed them off and tried our hardest […]
