About Travis Pulver

Sports are not life to Travis but they sure as heck do make life a lot more fun. Over the last few years, Travis has worked for several news-oriented sites that focused on sports, especially football, baseball, basketball, and to a lesser extent boxing and MMA. Having grown up in the football-crazed state of Texas football is his first love. According to his mother, he was more excited to watch NFL and college games as a baby then Sesame Street or Mickey Mouse. His passion for sports quickly spread to baseball (favorite team is the Houston Astros), basketball, and track and field as a kid. It wasn’t until his college years that he discovered the tremendous game of rugby. If you want someone who has a passion for the game, Travis is the journalist for the job! Travis graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a masters in Political Science. Prior to that, he attended IU Purdue in Indianapolis, Indiana where he earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science and earned his first degree at Texas A & M in Galveston, TX, a BS in Maritime Administration. Travis, a native Texan, has been blogging about sports and other subjects for several years. He currently lives in Indiana (is a basketball fan but hates going to the Indy 500) with his wife and two adorable kids. Posted on August 4, 2016, by Travis Pulver When Ryan Fitzpatrick was sitting in class at Harvard, he probably daydreamed from time to time about what life would be like in 15 years. Would the mathematics student be working on one of the world’s toughest equations? Would he be dominating the finance world? Would he […]

Posted on August 2, 2016, by Travis Pulver Rob Gronkowski does not like his contract. He has made that clear during the offseason. If the New England Patriots are smart, they will tear up his contract now, give him a raise, and then resign him before the regular season starts. Not because he has outplayed […]

Posted on August 1, 2016, by Travis Pulver Training camp is always important for players to attend, but for the Houston Texans, it is a little more important this season. Last season the Texans had a solid defense but a lackluster offense. Had they had an offense that could actually score a few points, maybe […]

Posted on July 31, 2016, by Travis Pulver Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin is no stranger to controversy. He’s had to deal with the circus that surrounded Johnny Manziel. Then there was a span of time where it seemed like every time you turned your computer on another Aggie football player was getting arrested. This […]
