About Travis Pulver

Sports are not life to Travis but they sure as heck do make life a lot more fun. Over the last few years, Travis has worked for several news-oriented sites that focused on sports, especially football, baseball, basketball, and to a lesser extent boxing and MMA. Having grown up in the football-crazed state of Texas football is his first love. According to his mother, he was more excited to watch NFL and college games as a baby then Sesame Street or Mickey Mouse. His passion for sports quickly spread to baseball (favorite team is the Houston Astros), basketball, and track and field as a kid. It wasn’t until his college years that he discovered the tremendous game of rugby. If you want someone who has a passion for the game, Travis is the journalist for the job! Travis graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a masters in Political Science. Prior to that, he attended IU Purdue in Indianapolis, Indiana where he earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science and earned his first degree at Texas A & M in Galveston, TX, a BS in Maritime Administration. Travis, a native Texan, has been blogging about sports and other subjects for several years. He currently lives in Indiana (is a basketball fan but hates going to the Indy 500) with his wife and two adorable kids. Posted on September 4, 2016, by Travis Pulver Before Saturday’s season opener against the Wisconsin Badgers at Lambeau Field, the biggest concern LSU fans had was whether Les Miles actually would leave someone behind if they attempted a “Lambeau Leap” after scoring. After the game, it appears that they may have to worry about what […]

Posted on September 3, 2016, by Travis Pulver One of the worst things in sports, college or professional, is hype. Whether it comes from fans on social media, bloggers, journalists, or talk shows doesn’t matter. When so many people talk about how good you are or how good they think you will be it is […]

Posted on September 3, 2016, by Travis Pulver Sean Lee is a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys. Antonio Brown is a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are both physical beasts that are among the best at what they do. Their franchises are two of the most successful that the NFL has ever seen. […]

Posted on August 31, 2016, by Travis Pulver Minnesota Vikings fans have been looking forward to this season. Not only would there brand new billion dollar stadium be finished, but expectations for their team were high.
